Technical Assistance to the Development of Methodologies for the Preparation of Sectoral and Provincial Programs
The global objective of the project is the reinforcement of the technical capacity of the planning units, at Provincial and Sectoral level, assuring their involvement and responsibility in the definition of economic development policies in Angola.
In particular, the project worked in the following areas:
- Definition of institutional framework guidelines for the preparation of sectoral, multi-sectoral and provincial programmes;
- Based on the analysis of different types of technical, methodological and institutional framework, the establishment of a support model to the preparation of sectoral, multi-sectoral and provincial programmes;
- Preparation of the support technical documentation (manual of procedures and guidelines) for the preparation of sectoral, multi-sectoral and provincial programmes;
- Support to the implementation of the selected methodologies, including the capacity building and training of staff of the planning units, at sectoral and provincial level.
