Elaboration of the Public Service Gender Strategy and corresponding Implementation Plan
The elaboration of the Public Service Gender Strategy and its Implementation Plan, within the framework of the Gender Policy and the National Action Plan for the Advancement of Women, it aimed to:
- Integrate gender equality/equity issues in the different human resources subsystems in the public administration;
- Harmonise, in all human resources management subsystems and in the General Statute of Civil Servants, non-discriminatory procedures and the mechanisms for raising the status of women with HIV/AIDS, as well as a strategy for the participation of women in decision-making bodies and in the preparation of all development plans;
Identify preventive measures for the elimination of sexual harassment in the workplace.
