EU-Canada Policy Dialogues Support Facility
Framed by the Partnership Instrument (PI) and in line with the overall strategic framework defined by the EU Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy, the project supports the implementation of the EU-Canada Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA), EU–Canada Summit Commitments and, where relevant, the Comprehensive and Economic Trade Agreement (CETA), through expert and logistical assistance in targeted interventions.
Specifically the project supports the implementation of concrete follow-up measures to the policy dialogues, provides updated information on the evolution, contents and results of the respective initiatives and seeks synergies in terms of business opportunities for EU companies in Canada in the context of the dialogues.
