 General description of the position:

Expert category:

Place of performance - Cat. I (>12 years of experience)

Qualifications and skills required:

Completed university studies of at least 3 years, attested by a diploma, in development studies, finance, economics, public administration management or a relevant, directly related discipline. In its absence 5 years of equivalent professional experience in addition to the years of general experience requested below.

General professional experience:
Minimum 12 years of experience with strategy and policymaking related to national development and/ or international assistance;

Specific professional experience:

At least:

• 7 years of demonstrated experience in PFM, institutional development, change management and capacity building;
• 5 years of experience with EU budget support programs;

• Demonstrated experience as team leader in similar projects (minimum 1 but preferably 2 technical assistance projects) with a budget of not less than 1,500,000 EUR;
• Preferable technical professional experience in justice sector, including experience gained in Europe.

Language skills:

• Fluency in English
