Profile Required

The Key Expert is responsible to ensure an in-depth understanding and analysis of the local food systems from the very beginning of the assignment.

Education

• Master's Degree or equivalent) in economics, agricultural economics, agricultural sciences, agronomy or any closely related subject.

Professional Experience

At least:

• 12 years of general professional experience closely related to sustainable food systems development.
• 3 completed assignments closely related to sustainable food systems development in West Africa.
• Working experience in The Gambia is an asset.
• In depth knowledge of the EU's Farm-to-Fork Strategy.

• Excellent English communication and writing skills (at least C-2 level proficiency).
• French communication and writing skills (at least B-2 level proficiency) are an asset.
