Requirements

General description of the position:

Expert category:

• Place of Performance - Cat. II (>6 years of experience).

 Qualifications and skills required:

• Completed university studies of at least 3 years, attested by a diploma, in development studies, economics, law, international relations, public administration or other social sciences, or a relevant, directly related discipline. In its absence 5 years of equivalent professional experience in addition to the years of general experience requested below University degree.

General professional experience:

• At least 6 years of general professional experience e in contributing to development and implementation of government strategies and reforms;

Specific professional experience:

• At least 5 years of professional experience with project/programme strategic and activity planning, formulation and M&E;
• Previous work experience and good understanding of justice/anti-corruption sector problems in Armenia is a strong asset .

Experience in:

• coordination of activities within governmental agencies or coordination of donor activities;
• training/capacity needs analysis, training delivery and coordination; experience in policy related research;
• formulating, implementing or monitoring EU Budget support programmes or complementary assistance under EU Budget Support Programmes will be considered an asset.

Language skills:

• Fluency in English,
• Knowledge of Armenian and/or Russian will be an asset
