Requirements

Profile Required

Education

• All experts shall have at least a university degree in fields relevant for their assignment (veterinary, food safety or equivalent) or, in its absence, general professional experience of at least 7 years.

Professional Experience
At least 6 years in the sector(s) related to the assignment in each of:

• control of animal health;
• development of animal health legislation;
• development and implementation of EU food safety policy;
• veterinary official control;
• animal health data collection and risk assessment and
• food safety data collection and risk assessment

• As a team leader in at least 2 similar projects in the area of control of animal health in EU Member States, Candidate and/or pre-accession countries;

The experts' team (as a whole) shall fulfill thebelow specific expertise requirements:

At least:

• 2 projects related to control of animal health in EU Member States, Candidate and/or pre-accession countries.
• 1 project related to the new EU animal health legislation.
• 2 projects in development and implementation of EU food safety policy;
• 2 projects in veterinary official control;
• 2 projects in animal health data collection and risk assessment;
• 2 projects in food safety data collection and risk assessment.

 Excellent command of English.
