General description of the position:

Expert category:

• Place of Performance - Cat. II (>6 years of experience).

Qualifications and skills required:

• Completed university studies of at least 3 years, attested by a diploma, in law. In its absence 5 years of equivalent professional experience in addition to the years of general experience requested below

General professional experience:

• At least 6 years of experience in justice/rule of law sector with particular emphasis on criminal justice.

Specific professional experience:

At least:

• 6 years of experience of working with state agencies and civil society, preferably in Armenia;
• 6 years of work experience and good understanding of criminal justice legislation, review and drafting Experience in approximation of the national legislation to EU regulations, norms and standards;

Language skills:

• Fluency in English,
• knowledge of Armenian and/or Russian will be an asset
