Requirements

CESO Development Consultants is preparing a proposal under FWC SEA 2023 to support the Haut-Commissariat au Plan (HCP) in Morocco in strengthening the production, analysis and use of gender-sensitive statistics.

We are currently looking for the following Key Experts:

📌 KE1 – Gender Inequalities & Territorial Analysis Expert
Focus: analysis and mapping of gender inequalities in Morocco using census data.

Requirements:
• Degree in statistics, demography, economics, geography or related fields
• Minimum 6 years of experience in gender and socio-economic inequalities analysis
• Minimum 5 years of experience with census and/or large-scale survey data
• Strong expertise in territorial analysis, mapping and sex-disaggregated indicators
• Advanced command of R, STATA or equivalent
• Knowledge of GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS

📌 KE5 – Women’s Entrepreneurship & Informal Economy Expert
Focus: women’s entrepreneurship, informal economy and self-employment analysis.

Requirements:
• Degree in economics, statistics, social sciences or related fields
• Minimum 7 years of experience in informal economy and women’s entrepreneurship analysis
• Strong understanding of socio-economic factors influencing women’s entrepreneurship
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative methodologies and statistical data analysis
• Advanced command of STATA, R, SPSS or equivalent
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau is an asset

📌 KE6 – Youth Employment, NEET Dynamics & Gender-Territory Analysis Expert
Focus: territorial analysis of young NEET populations, particularly women.

Requirements:
• Degree in economics, statistics, sociology or related fields
• Minimum 6 years of experience in labour market and youth employment analysis
• Expertise in NEET populations, unemployment and professional integration
• Experience with territorialised and sex-disaggregated analysis frameworks
• Strong command of statistical analysis and mapping tools
• Advanced command of STATA, R, SPSS or equivalent

📌 General requirements
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills
• Experience with workshops, training or stakeholder engagement
• Experience with public institutions or development partners is an asset
• Strong understanding of SDG 5 and SDG 8
• Excellent command of French (minimum C1)
• Arabic and/or Darija (minimum B2) is an asset
