We are looking for an experienced and operationally-driven Policy Dialogue Expert to support the implementation of an EU-funded technical assistance project in Angola.

 

This is a hands-on role focused on project execution, stakeholder coordination, and policy dialogue support, working closely with Angolan public institutions and EU partners.

 

What You'll Do

• Manage the funds allocation mechanism under the EU-Angola Dialogue Facility
• Procure and manage services to implement policy dialogue projects
• Support the day-to-day implementation of policy dialogue activities
• Coordinate with Angolan government counterparts and EU institutions
• Prepare reports, presentations, and operational documentation

What We're Looking For

 Education

Master's degree (preferred) in Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Management, or related field — or a university degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience.

 

Experience
• 10+ years in project management, economic/social development, or public policy
• Proven experience managing EU-funded projects
• Experience with public procurement procedures
• Strong knowledge of Angolan government institutions and policy landscape
• Work experience in Angola is highly valued
• Familiarity with EU external cooperation and sectorial policies is an advantage

 

Languages
• Fluency in Portuguese and English — both written and spoken (mandatory)

 

Profile

• Operationally sharp, with a strong ability to manage complex projects
• Skilled at building relationships with public institutions
• Comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines
• Independent, with no conflicts of interest
