Information and knowledge retrieval in GUINEA-BISSAU

CESO recovered a collection of over 170 documents, resulting from more than 40 projects and close to 25 articles, which was delivered to the Guinea-Bissau Government.

For this purpose, we promoted a publication 35 Anos de História na Guiné-Bissau (portuguese version) that is also available online.

At a time when Guinea-Bissau launches a new development cycle, this information will provide tools for a better understanding of the country's history since independence; it is also a useful source of knowledge for the challenges the country is facing.

This retrieval of knowledge generated by CESO in 35 years of experience in Guinea-Bissau, began in an internal project called Boomerang. It was started about a year ago and reflects the company's approach to consulting for development.

As mentioned by Professor Américo Ramos dos Santos, President of the Board, “CESO has always been an institution devoted to the production and transfer of knowledge, which is not owned by the company but for those who honoured us with their trust. Our obligation is to preserve this knowledge, value and make it available."

Guinea-Bissau was the first country to receive this comprehensive collection of knowledge generated by CESO.

Other countries equally important in the company's history will follow soon.
